I really like this shot. It makes me think of a movie studio backlot.

Caught this image on he way home last Friday. I like the image, but an not sure about the blown out highlights, but I do like the sun beams.
C and C is appreciated, and any advice on how to get a better capture would be welcome as well.

Chickadee

Took this snap of a Chickadee at the feeder just after first snow. Not quite sure why he / she looks in such a snit. I figure he was guarding the sunflower seeds for the rest of his / her troop. Or, it could have been the big single eyed black lens eye heading his /her way!

it's suddenly freezing outside, reminding me that this scene isn't too far off. this is the frozen-over Charles River several winters ago.

Suicide jump crime scene, about an hour ago, Boston, MA:

The body was just around that bend at the back of the ally; it opens up into a small courtyard type area.

Got the text notification and happen to be heading that way (I live just a few blocks from here). I only had my D50 and a 50 prime with me... Plus, it had just happened, so people were confused and rushing everyone away. Apparently, he was a drug user and something set him off... :(

After about a month since my camera broke, Bestbuy finally had it fixed. Drove 2 hours back and forth to go grab it.
Photo looks a bit desaturated on Firefox, but C+C always appreciated

C&C appreciated.

I'm confused. You got a text notification that a man had just killed himself, so you went to take a photograph of the 'crime scene'? Erm... why??
