Didn't know my portrait would raise such a debate!
Thank all of you for your compliments. It was such a quick, impromptu shoot that we just went with what clothes we were wearing.
And yes, she is very very pretty on her own and a pleasure to work with. She makes my job much easier from a lighting/composition stand point.
Just wondering, but what did you upgrade from?Ah yeh forgot it was a thread thats been carried on
I've really taken a shine to photography since Ive got my DSLR it allows me to experiment with more freedom over the final image and RAW is a good bonus.
Thanks for the compliments, these were both actually scrap images from other days and I didnt have time to shoot those days so i published photos from the previous day. I actually started out with a black and white, fully manual, film course so its what I know best. (although I prefer others to the latest ones) But thanks! No photo today but I will do some serious shooting tomorrow!
Luke.
Edit: also sorry I cant provide feedback for your images colour as I'm colour blind :/ I guess that helps me shoot in B&W!
Canadian War Cemetery in Groesbeek. Final resting place of 2599 soldiers who died while liberating the Netherlands in 1944.
Do you have the EXIF data on this?
What camera is this taken with?
The EXIF data is in the photo, so if you have an EXIF viewer for your browser (like this one), then you can just right-click on the photo to see the EXIF.
At any rate, I took that with my previous camera, an XSi. Here's the info:
40mm, f/8, 1/250s, ISO 200
Lens was the 17-55/2.8.
