Wow...that is good camouflage and a sturdy looking house. Good photo.A weaverbird nest. Weaver Birds are native to the area but assembled in an educational area of the gardens. May have been hand built using local material as other items along the walk were. On their bird sighting checklist, the only bird in the Weaver Finch category was House Sparrow. Had to walk on the grass for the angle and zooming with my feet using a 55 prime. Weaver birds are interesting, in addition to their construction design skill can actually tie knots with their beaks. Typical terrain is tropical areas of Africa and several Asian areas. Not native to Florida, and introducing them may push the invasive specie envelope too far to be allowed - but they probably could survive.Wow...that is good camouflage and a sturdy looking house.
