we had the loveliest rainbow at sunset last night!
Terrible lighting for my trip out this morning.
Backlit orange poppy probably same variety as those found around Chateau Lake Louise.

Rural Fire Station
X100t f2.5 250 ISO200 - I drive by a rural fire station weekly, and they have an older tanker garaged with the door (down) closed. This day they had another interesting fire truck outside. I drove in the parking lot and asked if I could take some images of the truck outside. As I am photographing the truck another group of fire guys walk up behind me - I thought I was in trouble - I mentioned that the truck in the garage was the one I wanted to photograph - one of the fire guys said that he would pull the tanker out for me. As he pulled the tanker truck out, I asked him if he would leave the lights flashing - he did. Awesome!

An evening blood sun from back in early September. We were getting quite a bit of smoke from the California and Oregon fires. Pretty much as it came from the camera, used a -2 exposure bias to keep the sun from blocking out.

Nice, already had a bottle of Hibiki Harmony but it was getting a bit low. Just got a Nikka Takketsuru Pure Malt. Gave it a try last night. Distinctly smoky taste to it. Wanted to try the Nikka From the Barrel but the local shop didn't have it. Have to widen my search. Cheers

Poison ivy might be a pain in the...well, whatever part of you it touches, but it sure does have some nice fall color.
