Like this much better than the earlier vertical version. I found the sea of white rather distracting in that earlier shot. This version also benefits from the hints of shadow detail and just the feeling of being close to the subject.Another minimalist shot. Comments always appreciated.

Many thanks @OldMacs4Me I prefer this one myself. Truth be told, I overexposed the other one since the sun came out in the middle of the exposure but I thought the high contrast effect was interesting.

Going back to 2008, and taken by my wife on a 6mp compact camera, this is me and the black dog heading for a paddle in the sea.

A different treatment of yesterdays shot. Pulled back on the saturation level, then did some selective tinkering with the shadow detail.
I'm with Namara. So far my favorite has been the first one, but I think all of them are really lovely. ?
