An evening hayride at the local pumpkin farm.
Ack, is that what that IS??!!!!! AIEEEE!!!!!! Thankfully I didn't touch anything, it was a bit far from me, actually, and I had the long lens on, and it didn't touch anything either..... Eh, good thing, then, I guess! I had heard that there was Poison Ivy around in the neighborhood but haven't been paying close attention since most of the time I've been on the boardwalk or on the trail around the lake. Thankfully this was not an area where I was actually walking or stomping around, there was some separation between me and the trees/bushes/plant(s). It was in a wooded area at the head of the lake. I've suffered through some miserable bouts with Poison Ivy in the past and have absolutely zero interest in coming in physical contact with the stuff again!!!Poison ivy might be a pain in the...well, whatever part of you it touches, but it sure does have some nice fall color.
No, it doesn't. Not so bad for reasonably quick shots, but not for ones that take some thought. Even if they're being patient, you can feel them waiting!Well often before sunrise these days! I had been to the cathedral with friends the day before but at about mid day. No chance for good photos then as the sun was around the wrong side. They flew back that night and I had a day with my camera in a beautiful City. Started at the Cathedral and went to a few other places as well. Photography with non photography people never really works out does it?
Absolutely. The camera phone brigade don’t understand you might want to wait for someone to move or the lighting to change! No, it doesn't. Not so bad for reasonably quick shots, but not for ones that take some thought. Even if they're being patient, you can feel them waiting!
Spent many years working with B&W films. Love a good B&W and this one qualifies.
