Beautiful. Just the sort of thing I'll be looking for in the morning.

Well I did have to get up before sunset and edit out a lot of scaffolding and cranes.Majestic.
I was there some years ago, but can't remember it being so majestic.
Where is this? I feel like I should know it but alas, the poor brain is less helpful than it used to be .Well I did have to get up before sunset and edit out a lot of scaffolding and cranes.
Ahh... nice to see a fellow G9 shooter.
Yup , much lighter to travel with than my full frame Canon stuff . Image quality isn't a whole lot different than my Canon's when using sane ISO's , plus it's built like a tank .Ahh... nice to see a fellow G9 shooter.
Top notch photo! One from the archives today. 2019 was so much better than 2020! View attachment 967576

Bok Tower and Gardens. https://boktowergardens.org/
Photos for the past couple of days and next week will be from the gardens surrounding the tower. I have a pass that includes it in its reciprocal admission policy that expires in Dec. Saw the camellias were budding up along the walk so will have to return in November.
Excerpt from the book I am writing...
"The Carilion at Bok Tower rises 205 feet and contains 60 bronze bells that resonate throughout the garden. Edward Bok, a retired and very successful publisher, and Pulitzer Prize-winning author wintered with his family in the exclusive Mountain Lakes Estate at the base of the mountain. When able to purchase the top of the mountain, he commissioned landscape architect Frederic Law Olmstead, Jr and other skilled artisans of the day in the creation of the gardens and Singing Tower, dedicated in 1929."
Well its one minute past midnight so its Friday here (yay!)

Shot in my garden this evening.
Well I did have to get up before sunset and edit out a lot of scaffolding and cranes.
Well often before sunrise these days! I had been to the cathedral with friends the day before but at about mid day. No chance for good photos then as the sun was around the wrong side. They flew back that night and I had a day with my camera in a beautiful City. Started at the Cathedral and went to a few other places as well. Photography with non photography people never really works out does it?Nice one!
You made a good job of it. I didn't notice a thing!
ps Do you normally get up after sunset?
