When we arrived, my daughter said she wanted to keep her eyes closed as I carefully guided her to the railing. She wanted to open her eyes to the canyon stretching to the horizon.

This was the first year I didn’t preorder. I convinced myself I didn’t need one… that didn’t last long 😂
Grandson visited for the past week, and of course there is fishing and the beach, but what else? The camera was a little large for his hands, but assisted with mixing chemicals (different photo), developing process and drum agitation, and the final result when dry.

Feels like this “handy-work” is almost extinct.
Suppose that due to the digital era no one is developing photos no more, not even professional photo store.
I think It’s only people that has photography as a main interest who are likely to do this.
There are lots of places to get film developed. In smaller areas you might have to send it out, but film is incredibly popular right now. I am actually picking a roll up and dropping another roll off today for my daughter. And I shot and developed a roll of bw yesterday myself.
One of my Crazy Horse shots from my 2014 slideshows. If I recall just the head is bigger than the entire carvings on Mt. Rushmore.
