I like this one, some of your other ones are a tad to extreme for me. This one treads the line enough for me.

hmmm interesting. however:

1) crop out the car. Take out much of the tree if possible. perhaps retake the shoot
2) more lighting on that subject is needed. too dark, underexposed. PP can help with this to bring out more detail
3) try a different angle. Get closer, lay on your back, shoot up at an angle. I think that would be an interesting take.
4) composition wise, make the windows more centered. it's like you were slightly to the left of the subject

Thanks to everyone who commented on my lighthouse pic. I planned on cropping out the car eventually, this is SOOC except for a minor levels adjust. The lighthouse is adjacent to a regular house that is used as quarters on Ft Monroe. I didn't want to trespass on their lawn so I got the best angle I could from the sidewalk. I originally tried to get the windows centered, but then the tree covered too much of the lighthouse. When I moved more to the left to get the tree out of the way, the house got in the in picture. I shot this handheld and only took one exposure so I guess HDR is out, never tried that. I'm not very good at PSE, I usually use Aperture, but maybe I can do some layers or burning to bring the exposure on the lighthouse up. I'll see what I can do and post the results if they're worthy.

Thanks! Actually, it's a wooden sign pointing the way to the local community center..... I was intrigued by the colorful flowers and white "grass skirt," which made a nice contrast to the black white-outline-painted figure. I simply darkened out the surrounding outdoors background and voila! I'm glad I shot it yesterday, as today it is pouring rain and I'm sure the colorful flowers are ruined.

My buddy took this one - I handed him my camera, I was busy enjoying my first Bi-plane ride... (I didn't want to spend any time looking through a viewfinder - that's me getting out of it). He takes great pics.
