Hello there, This photo was taken on a sunday morning in Michigan.
I am very grateful to have all my family and friends safe and sound. Nothing serious damage wise.
Glad to hear. Hopefully that's the last of the cat 5's for this year!
Playing with my new camera yesterday and I spotted this on a tiki torch in my yard. At first I thought it was a leaf growing out of the bamboo (not even sure if that's possible). I like the color contrast with the gray brick of my house as the background.
Think this was not posted to the POD. Tuned colors a bit.
Nice spot. I like finding things unexpected to shoot in the garden.

I went for brunch today. Mrs Kenoh found somewhere nearby that does Huevo Rancheros... only snag, I have to take my own Tabasco sauce... Girl at the next table was stunned at the amount I put on... needs a bit of a kick..
Plenty of work! had to take a time out before I strangled someone... getting real tired of lazy people who wont help themselves.

OK, I give in... what is it? is it a ramp for people to mount a horse from? You know for the normal folks who cant get their foot up into a stirrup at chest height and get on up there?

Kenoh, RCAFBrat is correct. Horses/cattle walk up the ramp to get from the corral up onto the trailer. There is a one-word term for it that I can't remember at the moment. The photo was taken about an hour outside Roswell, New Mexico, heading southeast on US 285. By the way, you can't find lodging in southern New Mexico/West Texas to save your life by late afternoon when the oil business is booming.
