Looks like a scene from Wallace and Gromit!
Yes it does !
Friends we were staying with showed me a phone photo of the same scene, and when we visited Ely together the car and bicycle were still there, so I repeated the shot for myself with the Sony RX100.
I reckon they leave the stuff parked like that for photographic opportunists ;)

Cheers :)

I ran up the beach firing the speed light to try and get some of the detail... To mixed success!

By the way, I just ordered this huge set of ND filters for £30 - I thought worth a try as I've been looking for some for ages. Might be rubbish, but let's see!!

https://luxurydaysin.com/products/all-in-one-universal-nd-20-density-filter-kit

No complaints to me if you also order them and they suck ;)
Nice capture!

I wouldn't hold my breath about the quality of those ND filters though!

They are made from resin, not optical quality glass, so will probably deteriorate the quality of your image, not to mention let some light in through the sides of the holder system they use. I'd expect colour casts from them too, and don't expect to get very long exposures from them in the daytime, they aren't very intense in regards to stopping light.

Been there, done that! Just with a different brand, but for around that same sort of price.

Excellent! So the main reason I purchased them is I sometimes need to do Architectural shots. They usually get printed on A3 at lowish DPI on an office printer - so hopefully it won't be the end of the world if the IQ isn't the best!

Oh, and if they are REALLY bad, UK distance selling regulations gives me the option to return for a full refund. Though I would obviously prefer them to be good...!

The highlands of Scotland are rugged and absolutely mind blowingly beautiful!

Took this through the rain in Glenfinnan yesterday!

It's certainly lovely up that way - rain or shine (though mostly rain). I like the low cloud and green that you've captured here - so characteristic of the western highlands. I did the West Highland Way in 1980 with great weather but don't get back there often enough. I'd guess the Harry Potter fever brings a lot more visitors to the viaduct these days...

We were there for harry. Mrs Kenoh and the little ones went on the train and I sat on a rock in the rain waiting for the shot.

Sorry for breaking the rules with a two in a day faux pas... but here is a shot of the train...

This weekend was action packed. Did the old Seminary in Cardross first thing Saturday, then grabbed the girls and headed to Glencoe at lunchtime, overnight in Fort William, Jacobite (Hogwarts) Express on Sunday and drove home last night.

Mrs kenoh is laughing about her sitting in 1st class with her mum and the girls drinking Prosecco and snacking on treats, meanwhile I was getting soaked on a hill side waiting for them (I now know my waterproofs arent!).... Felt like a sniper hiding in the trees waiting for my mark...

That was on the way back. I got it on the way there in the morning BUT... the rain was so heavy, it made it impossible to get a decent picture at that time. Way too heavy rain. :-(

We'll let it slide this time!
Nice. But I think I prefer your one above!
Some beautiful scenery up there. Somewhere else to add to my bucket list.

Hope your bag is waterproof.

I think Wales keeps a fair amount of it in reserve.
