Can I be really cheeky and ask for a rough breakdown of what you have (or possibly have not!) done in post? It's only there are so many hundreds of YouTube tutorials and the like on making landscape shots 'pop' - something I am not after - and you seem to have really captured the essence of the scene. Your style is truly fantastic in the set, and I would love to know how much you managed to achieve in camera vs adding after.

Conversely, if you don't wish to share the magic - I complete understand!!! :D

haha no magic I must admit I don't save my layers and I flatten all my images, which i know is bad form....However I have done one from scratch quickly maybe around 10 mins start to finish...i should have spent a bit more time masking the skies.

The PSD is here, should be enough to figure it out. If you need anything explaining just let me know.

hope you don't mind but i down res'd my original file to just 1000px

**Edit i should also apologise in advance for my rather scatter gun approach to editing

I'm off to Amsterdam in a couple of weeks. Work not pleasure, but I'll still be taking the Nikon with me!
I'm sure you'll still manage to squeeze in a bit of time to yourself :)

What lenses do you use on the xpro?
Normal mooching about I use either the XF23mm f2 or the XF35mm f2. They're nice and light and compact. When I go on holiday I use the XF18-55

I also have the XF55-200 and the XF35mm f1.4

The X100F is the camera I always have in my bag as it's so easy to carry. What are your favourites?

You're a brave man!

Congrats on the 19 years together too! May it last a lifetime.
Amen to that!

I confess, I have been married for 16 years. And I also made mistakes...
You must have done something right!

Second star on the right....
As it's my 19th wedding anniversary this week, here's another shot of Mrs AFB!
Hopefully I make my 20th!

But she brings me tea and breakfast every weekday morning in bed!

The secret to a happy marriage!

A little confused here!? Is her bringing you breakfast in bed YOUR secret to a happy marriage or HERS? If hers, then she's a saint!

Now I'm confused! Congrats on the photo or the beautiful wife!

I think getting breakfast in bed is the secret to OUR happiness ;)
