One of Manchester's disappearing Northern Quarter streets that I've been documenting. And a little exposure nerdery. Unusually, for my full frame kit, this is the out of camera JPEG with adjustments in LRCC (iPad) and finishing off in Affinity (also iPad, so all iPad). The light was quite challenging so I had to max out the A7II's DRO* setting.

* Dynamic Range Optimisation - I'm told it's fundamentally the same IP (licenced from the same source) as Nikon's Active D Lighting.

It's well into the morrow Downunder and I'm heading for the hills in about five hours time. Here's a glimpse from a local beach with the tiniest jetty you have ever seen! It's the little white, lit up section in centre of frame. This is captured about twenty minutes after sunset and considering it is an automated 180 degree panorama jpeg spat out of camera/drone/app I'm quite impressed with it!

I would guess an allium/onion/garlic something

Thanks, Molly! I can't remember now exactly where I saw this bunch of flowers and photographed them -- I think over on the other side of the lake where the townhouses are, but I was definitely not in someone's personal vegetable garden, where one might expect to find onion or garlic plants! I'll have to see if I can find these flowers again and take a better look.....
