When I seen the purple flowers in the pond, I had something in mind when I get into post editing. I was thinking colors glowing like in the avatar movie. Shot it purposely underexposed so I play with luminance, highlights, lights/darks... etc... anything to give that glow on the purples, yellows, orange, greens. Added the lightning bug to enhance the effect. Pretty much came out the way I envisioned it...

The smoke came in from down south this weekend so I've been relegated to reviewing photos. This is from last weekend in Lonsadale Quay, North Vancouver. You can get here by taking the socially-distanced Seabus from downtown. There is some good architecture over this side of the water; including City Hall and the Polygon Gallery
No, I didn't catch this Red-tailed Hawk blinking or closing its eye. There is something wrong with it as if he/she was injured or it might even be old age? I'm not a bird expert.

The unedited raw is too dark, so it's technically not the original. I did a quick un-cropped edit... exposure pushed to almost +2 on LR... plus a few personal adjustments.
