iOS 18.0.1 just dropped. I downloaded it, tested it and there are camera improvements! I have two 16 pro max iPhones and only one has been updated to 18.0.1 so I compare. I have mostly cloudy skies…figures!! No stars to test yet. Hopefully later. There is more detail in the photos.

hy guys, did you notice some change reguarding the heic format?
I can not see the photos with heic format in cloud (not icloud)
with the jpeg format there is no problem

Auto stock camera. I don’t see much of a the difference from 14pm (main camera is the same).
Due to new anti glare coating little lights bulbs (led board) looks better but not perfect

Interesting, I'm on iOS 18.1 B5 since day 1 of having my 16 Pro so I can't say far sure if these improvements are also in this version of the beta but I've had zero issues with details.

How are you processing your photos? I know you said stock camera but those don't look like straight out of camera iPhone images. Are you shooting in ProRaw?
