Ok… I remember now. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen that movie. LOL
Uncut International Release is where it's at for that scene. She did not want to do that longer version of the scene and in the end did it only if it was never released in the US. Some people started buying copies and importing. Terrible movie, lol. Directing, acting, plot and makeup all terrible 😂. Swamp Thing himself caused me to burst out laughing. Makeup is like something from a bad school play, lol

Thank you. Yes, regular raw is really the way to unleash the full power of iPhone cameras. I really don't like how most stock cameras process images and unfortunately ProRAW has almost the same processing as the HEIC/JPEG files from the stock camera which cannot be overridden even when using a third party app as the ProRAW processing is taken care by the Apple Camera API.

Regular RAW is completely unprocessed which gives the photographer full control of the end results. And it does show what a beautiful hardware this phone truly has.

The 12MP sensor in the iPhone 16 Pro is the same sensor as the 15 Pro and 14 Pro. And since the 12MP RAW images are unprocessed, the only thing that can make any difference in the IQ is the lens - which has some marginal improvements in the 16 Pro.

For example... I took these with the 14 Pro

the great photos you took have much more to do with the photographer than the hardware

Interestingly enough I do see some improvements in the amount of noise in the RAW files when I compare 15 Pro Max with 16 Pro Max. This makes it possible to do less denoising and save more of the natural detail. The dynamic range is also slightly larger which means that highlights can be saved to a greater extent (compared with all settings fixed in manual mode). I don't know if this is related to the new ISP or what but the difference is quite obvious to me when I look at the unprocessed files. The RAW data stream is created by the ISP as an interpretation of the data coming from the sensor. So it is not impossible that the new A18 Pro does a better job than A17 did.

the heart is for the cat. i bet she’s plenty smart. how many do you have? we have 6 and they’re all gifted.
haha he’s a menace but we love him! The joke is that all orange cats share one brain cell. He has some orange so he has to fight for the cell everyday. He turns 1 on the 21st and I met him the day he was born! He likes to escape the house and chase squirrels up trees (he’s an indoor cat). I also have 6 cats and I would die for each and every one of them!

I once had an orange cat. We called him a cat of very little brain. Dumb as a stick and neurotic besides, but I loved him dearly. He lived to be 18 and I treasured every minute.

I am trying to make sense of the all of the reviews I have watched, and posts regarding the iPhone 16 Pro Max for photos and video. I am an amateur photographer, and I want to be able to take the best quality photos possible using the stock camera app with the phone, and also the highest quality RAW photos when using a 3rd party camera app. I might do some editing on the phone in the Photos app or in Lightroom Mobile, though I will likely transfer photos for editing to my Mac and work in LR Classic.

1. Is there any real improvement with regards to photo quality between the iPhone 14 Pro Max and the 16 Pro Max when just using the stock camera app? Is there any improvement when using a 3rd party app between the two phones?

2. Is there any real improvement with regards to photo quality between the iPhone 14 Pro Max and the 16 Pro Max when shooting in RAW with a third party app?

Thanks in advance!
