First, I use Portrait Mode to give this feeling of depth. I love this mode.

I edit my photos through the VSCO app. It is super simple to use and contains several filters separated by classes. Of course, each filter fits better for each scenario. You have to learn how to deal with it.

As for the camera settings, I take the photos with the default iPhone app, just making the changes in the depth of the Portrait Mode and Exposure of each photo.
