Blended and dodged in photoshop
Again you surprise us with your eye. But then again I am a big fan of your images, as many know very well here.
Yet again, some cropping is in order IMO (see attached crop). A common theme I see in your images is that despite working with the 3:2 format - your eye is focused on what I call the 1:1 format -meaning that the Hassleblad 6x6 format works well with your "personal vision".
Keep inspiring the rest of us!
first shot taken with my new lens

Shutter/Aperture: 1/80 sec. /2.0
ISO: 160

I know, theoretically one pic per post, but here's my new lens, on my D200.
A great image from a great lens IMO. I hope that I can get the same results from my Nikon 35/2.0 AFD - though fine focus control with AF lenses might not lead to the same result.

Used Photoshop with Nik plugin to convert and increase contrast.
Very well done from the moment you pressed the shutter, through the post processing. I would be proud to hang this on my wall.
I've got so many pictures from my recent trip to Iceland I'd like to post, but as this is the Picture (singular!) of the Day thread, here's one:
D70s
f3.5
10 sec shutter
ISO1600
Holy Cow! A recent trip? I was in Iceland in February this year, and the weather never allowed me to even see this with the naked eye! Congrats on being there at the right time.
I have heard stories of Japanese tourists that have traveled at a cost of $5000+US to "see" the Northern Lights - only to see nothing.

On of the first rolls I've developed myself. Too bad some light hit the right side of the frame.
There is something "magical" in what you posted. It is hard to tell in such a small image. But to me the contrast. exposure, and composition seem to be spot on.
