fixed some color stuff in photoshop. i initially took it with my finger over the flash so it was all really, really red. the original looks alright, but i like it more this way.

and i have to agree, this thread really is pretty awesome...too bad it shows the truth about me...i have no idea what the hell i'm doing.

I picked up an ant and let it crawl on my lens. Then I pointed the camera up (so it could better focus on the ant) and pressed the shutter. On the original you can zoom in pretty close on the ant.

Even though it was a cloudy, rainy day, I decided to head to the beach to take some photos of people surfing. I think this is the best one I took as not many people were out and it started raining soon after I got there.

:D I'm going to run into you one day at paradise beach.
I don't see many photographers south of second light or north of the inlet... xcept me and you. Nice one. It's difficult to to get a good action shot on cloudy days... :)

I think I took this around December 2004.
I don't really have a good archive of my first DSLR shots (I do have the originals but I will have to really go through thousands of pictures to find them).

However, I do remember the location and equipment.
