<snip frisbee fun>
Tee hee. I love watching people throw frisbees around. And I like the little flowers on the grass (not that you placed them there or anything).

here is a fun one from a little project i am working on, enjoy!

please visit my flickr for plenty more like this ( as well as my other images )

Data -
Camera - Canon EOS 5D
Lens - EF 24mm f/2.8
Aperture - f/8
Shutter speed - 15seconds
ISO 200

Like the project you are working on.

A bit of fill flash for the interior of the car might help (using the ST-E2 and a compatible EX flash).

The over exposure was deliberate, and I do not intend to crop it. : )

While I was at my dad's house this past week, I had the chance to go out in his yard during daylight, something that isn't too common for me during school.

It was a bit overcast but nonetheless I still managed to survive :p

I'll probably post another from this excursion tomorrow. This one was on my Gitzo, I decided to get some shots of a few flowers first when this little critter crawled into my shot.

Place: Miami, FL, USA (my dad's front yard)

Is she your sister? Is she sitting by a bath tub? What an intriguing photo, it definitely makes me pause and think...

Not one of my sisters - I did a bridal thing for a spa the other day and just couldn't get this girl to relax...don't know her name, either LOL.

^^Holy **** that's a sweet owl shot. You got him quite in focus even though s/he was flying towards you. Was s/he flying really fast, or not particularly fast?

Oh man, I haven't posted here in a while........ HangGlider, Close to Stanwell Park, 12/06/2006 (today).

Glad you like it!
The owl had just taken off so it wasn't moving very fast towards me but it's wings were beating very quickly!
I was undecided whether to go for a fast ISO/Shutter speed to try and freeze the wings or a lower shutter speed to try and impart some sense of movement in the picture. I went with the latter and I'm pretty pleased with the result!

Very impressive, does the owl belong to someone, looks like leather straps on the back?

For the picture did you just fire off a bunch of shots ( the 20D will do about 5 fps) or did you have it in servo and let the camera track?
