this was taken in june of 2005, but with the super bowl coming up on sunday, i thought it was appropriate to post.
this was with my parents now broken camera, just like all my pictures before last month, which wasn't really into the zoom category. i'm hoping to go to some more braves games this year and work this baby out.

Thanks! I like your shot of horse country. How did you get the surreal look? Was it an HDR composite?
Not an HDR -- this was a digital Orton technique, overexposing the original, making a duplicate, adding gaussian blur, then combining the two images.

I need to go when there is some color left in the sky. It took a lot of burning to bring out the crosses up top and the steeples needed major dodging to bring out the detail.
