Excellent shot, but the frame is just cheeseball imo. It'll look far classier with a solid black or white background as a frame.
I toyed with several frames and picked something traditional but not antique (after visting the Ansel Adams gallery). Anyway, here's one with a thin black border that is more contemporary.

P.S. Don't quote the whole image; the moderators don't like that.

Very nice. Here's my version from 1992 shot on Ektachrome and scanned. I have to re-take this picture digitally in the summer.

An angel on my mom's fireplace.

I have no clue when this was shot, honestly. About a year ago?

That is the reflection of a huge 60 foot four panel screen that gives video close-ups of the action, but some of us took our own close-ups.;) :) and thanks... it was quite a show!

That's good to know. I thought it was "purple fringing" gone out of control! Which would be strange, as that camera is not known for having bad purple fringing!

Thanks for the comment ksz. It's always nice to be appreciated. BTW that's a bloody big tree.:)

Anyway, enough freeride shots. I was recently asked to take some shots for an icelandic electronica night that my buddy was organising. So, at least for the next couple of days, I'll be sharing some of the keepers from that night. I hope you enjoy them.

Some of my favorites

I am always checking this thread. Good job keeping it up, I just entered into DSLR world, but I wanted to share some of my previous shots using a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ7

No exif data though.

Pic #1: Smoke from a patio torch, sepia tone added.
Pic #2: Close up of a bee on a flower next to a very busy road/fence.
Pic #3: My friend on the beach taking a nap, I love the perspective on it.
Pic #4: A bench on a sunday morning. I was headed out the door and the sunrise light was... amazing, so I went back and captured it.
Pic #5: Same morning, another little chair on the front yard.
