Do you think you could email me a larger version? If so, PM me, yeah? Thanks.
I could. However, I took this shot on a whim. Handheld, so it is not the sharpest of photos. Just a heads up.

Thank you so much for your help with my HDR issues Ben! That Stuck In Customs HDR Tutorial will become very helpful as soon enough I will have Photoshop CS3 and Lightroom to accompany Photomatix.
I'm hitting up the NYC B&H store this Sunday to pick up a tripod.
Thank you also for clarifying my Photoshop related question as well as when to use HDR and when not to.
Thanks again Ben!![]()
Thanks Marley!this is awesome. the lighting on the birds is just right.
I don't have Lightroom just yet, but thank you for that url, Iscariot. I'll be sure to use that in addition to the link that volvoben provided. If you have lightroom, there are a couple of presets here http://inside-lightroom.com/hdr.html that will allow you to create a number of shots for HDR. Not a replacement for auto-bracketing, but it might help.
Nice shots, btw. How are you liking the D40?

Wicked shot! I love how everything is slightly blurred except for the row of blossoms to the left.

Looks like it was taken with a camera phone :/
That's what you can have for $1000 less than your dslr.Just lotsa noise.
What was the ISO here? My D70s is hardly a tenth noisy as that at even 1600.
Haha, I for some reason didn't catch that you weren't shooting with an SLR, even thought it was clearly in your post. That's what you can have for $1000 less than your dslr. That wasn't really the best one, but there is certainly no comparison to any dslr once my Lumix goes above ISO 800, unless it's broad daylight... the fz50 is not for night shooting.
