At first I was thinking this was a very small tractor, until it occurred to me that it's really a big roto-tiller. I think rice will be planted there soon-ish.

I snapped this a few steps from where I took the, "Country Road, Country Gal," picture that I posted a couple of days ago.

Wow! That's a great shot! Caught that duck right in your sights!

I like the juxtaposition of his traditional dress and the modern tractor. Not an image Americans see very day!

This has tremendous potential for HDR. Was it taken in RAW? If so, have you tried producing a one-shot HDR with Photomatix, Photoshop, or something else?

It was taken in RAW. But, I have'nt done anything to the photos just yet, just converted a few to jpeg. I will try your idea though, thanks.

I figured that if I'm going to start getting back into photography I could at least throw some pictures up. This is just a pic I took with a point-and-shoot while I was still in school.

Figured I'd finally toss something up here. I have a better version of this that doesn't cut off the left, has a more balanced sky and has the wires cloned out, but I'm at work and happened to have this one on my flash drive.

both versions can be seen on my photosig page

Not sure of exif, but it's a 3 shot +-2EV HDR taken very quickly after work last fall.

Nikon D70, Nikkor 18-70mm @ 18mm (this is why I bought the Sigma 10-20, I hate not being able to get wide enough).

Hey, Northfield, MN! Nice!

What on earth is the guy on your right holding, a frikin telescope!!!

He's actually working with a 300mm (or maybe it was a 400mm) Nikon lens on a tripod. I was running around shooting lots of candid people portraits with my D200 and 70-200mm, my D2Xs and 300mm lens sitting on the tripod but not in the right place at all to capture this incoming duck..... so I just grabbed the shot that I could from the position I was in at the time. My fellow photographer....well, he nailed the shot of that incoming duck right on the money! So did a lot of the others who were part of that gathering.

It looks like it is a Wimberly head on the tripod as well. Big bucks right there!
