Same here. Everythings a bit blurry.

Yeah, it seems so. The light was very bright, and I've had some cataract issues lately, so the focus was hard to zero in on. I did use the autofocus, but you all know that doesn't always work well under those conditions. (small, repeated patterns of similar colors)

Out doing some yardwork today:

Neat patterns! I like the light and dark contrasts.

Thanks rahrens! I like doing contrasty black and white photos when sand is involved.

Great shot as always!

May I ask what editing/cataloging program(s) you use? Do you have a flickr account?

I had to help with an open house the other day at OIP&T. We had to set up a commercial demo to show people that were interested in going to school there what exactly we do. So what better than stopping motion with ice and water??

Oh, and those are fake ice cubes. Never would've guessed it huh?

Really like this shot. The exposure is spot on. Kinda wish you had completely frozen the motion, though.

Here's mine for the day.
Visiting my girlfriend, she hated her new haircut and wouldn't let me take pictures of her. So I had to shoot her sleeping. Ha.

I was out walking around with a mate, I saw what looked to me of him taking a pic of a window, so I walked over and noticed what he was taking, so i must confess kinda copied.

If she hates her haircut, I wonder what she will think if she finds out you
took a picture of it while she was sleeping. Poor you. She doesn't read
macrumors, I hope?
Good picture btw, I like the way the arms frame her head.
350 & 17-40, I have the same setup. Do you like it?

Thanks for your previous compliment(s). Re. query: My main programs are iPhoto to load and catalogue (probably shift to Lightroom eventually, trying it now) and Photoshop CS2 for editing (what a miracle that app is). My favorite plug-ins are from Flaming Pear (Mr. Contrast and Organic Edges), Noise Ninja and NikColor Efex Pro 2.0. I also like AutoPano Pro and Photomatix a heck of a lot for panoramas and HDRs respectively. Oh, and Capture NX for RAW from my Nikon (just starting) and several free Actions I've picked up on the 'web.'
