Those clouds look awesome. Nice work

Still waiting for the tall corn and the lightning strikes :) ;)

Glad you like it :D

No tall corn (barely knee high and no lightning yet).

iso 400
f 14
1/200 sec

I should have brought the speed down to 1/60 or so and get a better/sharper depth of field - ah well.

I know that its supposed to be one a day - but its the same shot from a different angle :D

Now that's what I'm talking about. Love the angle and the colours, new life, old barn, and heavenly clouds. Perfect.

Just awesome

I haven't participated here yet...but I figured I'd jump in. Not one of my best pics, but fun anyway.

Canon Digital Rebel
Shutter/Aperture: 1/30 @ f22
Focal Length: 28mm
ISO 100

Photoshop--removed a window reflection, increased contrast and saturation.

That's amazing, how the ground is blurred, but the clouds are sharp.

Looks like mad jew's avatar, with a highway. :p

I was in Corsica this week and took this at the Calanches de Porto on the western coastline. I highly recommend a trip to Corsica for the nature lovers out there; the preservation of the landscape is wonderful, and nothing is over-developed.

That really is beautiful. Is there a lot of hiking?

Very nice image. Shows just how nice the 11-18 Tamron is. Would in this case loved to have a hi-res image to look at.

All ready old photo turn into peint...

This is one photo from my Nikon 35 mm FM ( film ) taking in 1981 in the wood near Shippagan, N.B. Canada.
the effect of moving it made by double exposure on tripod with one stop under normal to totalize a normal exposure. EX : 125 sec F8 , two times for the same as 125 sec at F5.6.
I did not try with my digital yet.
The most effect of paint is because it was snowing bigs flakes falling slowly on the ground. That makes a king of blurr in Photoshop. :)
I wish you understand what i means.;)
I forgot to says that it was the 35 mm lenses to for the seeing of large sides.

Love what you have done with this image. The gentleness of the colors, and use of DOF makes this image work IMO.

I love that! It makes me want to climb in and hide in the corn rows.

Not particularly good....

Not particuarly good, as I'm less than thrilled with my choice of subjects on which to test out my latest toy...but I figured it had better get going early :)

It gives new meaning to the term "selective focus"

Camera: Nikon D2HS
ISO: 200
Exposure: 1/640 sec. f/2.2
