Art is where you find it... cliff art in Mexico

While traveling a highway in Sonora, MX. between Hermosillo and Nogales, I spotted this interesting image in the desert.

Despite the rather grim action, I kind of like the colours.

Big Mac: Nice one! Very sharp and interesting angle.
Pdxflint: I lke the light and composition, and a great subject.
Steamie: Great colour! If you have Photoshop, you could correct the converging vertical lines using the filter>distort>lens correction>vertical perspective
CBAviator Sweet lightning pic.!

Freebooter, as usual your perspective with that great macro lens takes us into another world, full of beauty and intrigue. Great colors, I agree, on the last pic of the spider's lunch. I have to mention also the delicate beauty and detail in your backlit dragonfly - definately a winner amongst your many incredible shots...!

BigMac, really nice composition and exposure on the bird (stork?) on roof shot. Tricky contrast between the bird and the background sky, but you nailed it.

Plymouthbreezer, a nice B/W portrait. I like the softness, yet great detail. Only thing is, since you included a lot of the subjects upper body, I wish you would have not cropped the top of his hair... still, a very nice shot.

Steamie, that night shot (church) is dramatic, and gorgeous.

Thanks for the tip, I can't believe i've never noticed that option in Photoshop. I'll give it a try.
Your latest is great again ......poor butterfly ;) And as pdxflint said the dragonfly picture is awesome.

That doggie picture is great !
I really like your new shot, Very atmospheric. I'm half expecting the sky to split open and the riders of the apocalypse to appear.

Thank you for the comments, freebooter and pdxflint! After a bit of googling I think the bird is a Snowy Egret.
