A shot of my girlfriend's dad's car. It's an MGA; he collects old British sports cars. He's also got an MGB and a Triumph.
But he's an ass, and I hate him. :)

My three-year-old son Oliver, yesterday, chasing a seagull on the eastern shore of Maryland. The gull took to the sky, and Oliver tried to follow.

One monsoonal day in July, I decided to try to catch a whole forest scene, high/low and all around. I took over 50 pictures (hand-held), trying to keep the lens rotating in one place, and stitched using the miraculous "AutoPano pro" application. It worked! One of the really amazing things about "AutoPano pro" is that I can now make any number of variations by choosing any point on the sphere as the centre of the output image. For example, I could have the image centre on the trees overhead, or the rocks underfoot.

Makes me want to buy one, although it really doesn't take much to make me want one. :) But why did you take the photo at ISO 1600 and 1/800 seconds? Why not just 1/100 seconds at ISO 200 or something? Just curious, that's all. It's probably just a matter of forgetting that you were taking photos at ISO 1600.

I took this at a music/crafts festival last month. I loved the colors, and the patterns on the glass. :)

Great colours.

Yesterday was my first day with my brand new Pentax K100D so I thought I'd share one of the outcomes. This is a picture of the Smoke Bush beside my driveway.

Congratulations on finally getting it. :) Hopefully, Buschmaster is getting his Pentax or Nikon as well soon. :) Personally, I think the bokeh is rather good in the photo, especially if you're using the kit lens, but I think a shot that consisted mainly of that....um.....plant....... shot at a higher f-number would have been more interesting and clearer. :)

This photo was taken on July 26th, 2006 using my Nikon D50.

EDIT TO ADD: Oh my f***ing goodness, the colour in this photo is horrible using Firefox! Just checked Safari, and it's so much better.

Abstract: It's as you guessed, I forgot I was shooting in 1600. :) It was low-light (overcast, and afternoon), but it shouldn't matter anyway with my 50mm. I guess I'm just not used to how fast it is yet. :)

edit: btw, NICE shot.

Thank you abstract and seenew! :)

Taken July 4, 2006, by the Tennessee River. I call it "Bandit." :D

Also ... the colors of my pictures look strange to me on Mozilla as well - more faded than what they look like on iPhoto. Strange.

This is because IE, Mozilla and Firefox don't respect embedded color profiles, I believe. Safari respects them. I still have't really figured out how to bridge the Mac-PC "gamma gap".
