Where is the historic market place terrace?

The beer - and I love Affligem - and that gorgeous beer chalice - both look amazing.

Sipping a good beer, at an outside café, in - a historic market place terrace - comes close to my definition of, or understanding of, the expression, "pure bliss."

Not sure if this link is going to work. If not, just google for Maaseik and drop that yellow fellow...

Or just try this one

And since it was on a Wednesday, the weekly market was on - funny crowd.

This is our latest production release.

Time honored and reborn.

The pilsner style Diamond State Lager beer has its origins in a recipe first brewed by Joseph Stoeckle at his Wilmington saloon in 1858. Stoeckle began brewing his famous Extra Fine pilsner on a larger scale in 1872, when he became associated with a brewery across town called the Diamond State brewery. After Prohibition, in 1936, a new company re-opened the brewery and began producing Diamond State Lager Beer based on Stoeckle’s original recipe. The beer disappeared seemingly forever, when the Diamond State Brewery, Inc. went out of business in 1954.

Though the original Diamond State Lager Beer recipe has been lost to history, Blue Earl Brewing Company has taken great care in reproducing a 100% all grain pilsner, true to the old Stoeckle way. “A Famous Brew Since ‘72 – Diamond State Lager Beer is back after a 66 year hiatus! Prost!

Diamond State Lager - 4.5% ABV - 28 IBU brewed with Pilsner, Munich, Wheat, Corn and Oats. Hopped with German Noble hops and American hops. Light...Clean...Crisp...Drinkable Beer flavored Beer!

I like the Minolta (lovely camera, my first serious camera was an antique Minolta rangefinder that I had been given as a gift) almost as much as the beer.

That's great to hear. Minolta's really are such wonderful cameras and I've captured so many beautiful memories with this one. I inherited it from my grandfather and want to pass it on to the next generation so it's essentially a family heirloom now!

Ah, Founder's; an excellent choice.

When you're in Averbode, you drink their beer - right ?

That is a Belgian beer I have never come across: What is it like? I must say that I love the glass.

Agreed.

My rangefinder took wonderfully sharp pictures, it had a terrific lens.

Hope you continue to enjoy yours for years to come.

The (draft) Averbode has a full, sweet taste. Nice yellow-gold colour. I would say a midrange beer.
And yes, the glass is lovely. I also like the brand's logo.

Sounds lovely.

I look forward to making the acquaintance of this beer someday (when the world returns to some vague approximation of what we used to refer to as "normal").

I have the 128 oz version. I love it.

Still trying to learn how to use it properly. First time, beer come out mostly foam. Second time, guess I left the beer in past the days I'm allowed because it tasted flat.
