Angry Chair is a must visit when we visit my in-laws in Florida. Pretty stoked to see their name in my go-to bottle shop here in Virginia, even though it was a collab with another brewery. My gosh this one is so good

That looks absolutely mouth-watering.

Is it a robust stout, or something more akin to a Belgian style quadrupel?

Its a nice thick stout, but not too thick. I've had many stouts with maple in them, where the maple just dominated any other flavor. This beer is smooth, and the maple is just enough; I'd say perfectly balanced with the other flavors. And being that you mentioned a Belgian, I had to go get a bottle of St. Bernardus Abt 12 to enjoy later today

Ah, that sounds wonderful; agree re maple, a rich stout is enhanced with the addition of a little maple.

Enjoy your St Bernardus Abt 12, a true Belgian classic.

Delirium Argentum from Belgium.
Amber coloured beer, spicy with citrus aroma and a somewhat bitter aftertaste.

Very enjoyable.
Is that new?

This brings up memories. At a wedding reception, they had quart bottles of Delirium Tremens, and some wisely stayed away from it, but a few too many got into it a little too hard. Some got quiet, and just sat and laughed at the goings on, and some got loud and boisterous, and others just started a mosh pit in front of the DJ. It was an experience. Most were staying at the same hotel, so breakfast was a very quiet and somber affair due to the hangovers most had. Too funny...

I've had the Nocturnum, which was tasty, and the Christmas too. I'll have to call around and see if anyone has this that delivers.

That's kind of what I'm missing (well, aside from almost everything) is more citrus IPAs. I was lamenting to the local beer store owner about the dearth of citrus IPA's last year. No Electric Peel, no Tropical Torpedo, or really any other of that type. Well, one local brewery came out with a 'citrus heavy' IPA, but it was so grapefruit heavy that most people couldn't take it on an empty stomach. I wonder why they were pretty much totally gone, and I haven't seen any yet this fall/winter either. Dang... Miss that zip taste.
