Didn't get beer this weekend and that is upsetting but I got paid for my sidejob. The wife doesnt know I am having a bit of a wet lunch. Sierra Nevada is the only thing decent on the menu and its been a while since I have had an IPA.
There is a just a little difference between a Pale and and Indian Pale Ale lol.. I love SN beer. Their Pale Ale to me is one of the more heavier Pale Ales.
Yeah thats a screw up there too. Everyone on my ass today! Its all good tho. I am a bit off working through the weekend. I almost picked up 90 minute IPA yesterday. Been a while since I have had a super hoppy beer.
Would this be the 90 minute from Dogfish Head or another brewery? I have been looking and wanting to try the 120 minutes. Supposed to be the strongest IPA on the market.
Yeah it's a shame the last batch of 120 couldn't be released. Everyone's waiting for their fix!
Is that the one they dumped on the show? I would think they would be able to make more by now? Soon enough I am sure.
They have to stick to their schedule, unfortunately, since they run at full capacity. Plus they needed to ensure it wouldn't happen again. It is scheduled for April, July, Nov.
This is good news. Keeping fingers crossed we get some in April! Nice Tax Man treat!!!

This weeks lineup. Growler of blackberry rye straight from the brewery. Homewood reserve which is East Ends black strap stout aged in oak bourbon barrels. Then the Tremmens.
Haven't had the other two, but Tremmens is good!!! Great little beer!
Yep. The other two you can only get in Pittsburgh and my favorite brewery by far. http://Www.eastendbrewing.com. They have the distinction of having the highest rated smoked beer on ratebeer.com. I havent had that one yet myself.

Dark Hops by Beer Here. Interesting beer. Chocolate and coffee flavors work well together in this one. If you like this style,I recommend this
Double Jack by Firestone Walker. Becoming a fan of this brewery now that it's available here in MA. Have their 14th Anniversary Ale,Abacus and working on getting some Parabola. This is a phenomenal Double/Imperial IPA. Put it right up there with Hopslam
Best for last. Founder's Kentucky Breakfast Stout. Not much else that can be said about this beer that hasn't been said. With Founder's cutting retail distro and shipping more in kegs,it's even harder to come by this year than in year's past. If you can find it,get it. World class beer

I have no pictures from this weekend because I was too busy getting drunk. It was a weekend of super micro session beers. East End started their Wheat fest by cracking two wheats. One was Monkey Girls Dunklewiezen which was a version from their standard Monkey Boy hefewiezen. I think the Dunkle is my new favorite style. The color is just amazing on this stuff and I could drink it all day. The other one is Wheat Hop. Basically an IPA profile but made with Wheat. Dang it was good. I brought the growlers back to Youngstown for the weekend and we went to this bar there B&O station. Its right beside a new brewery called Rust Belt. They had two taps. Irish Red Ale and Milk Stout. I tried both and they were both pretty good. They gave me plastic cups tho. Was not happy about that. So yeah I am beered out now going to dry out till next weekend.
