If you can find Stone's Sublimely Self Righteous, give it a try..

We get stones for sure. I dont think i want a whole case tho. Maybe dees has the singles.

I just found out about a new brewery in town. Full Pint. They opened last year. They make a rye imperial stout. Gotta get a growler soon and report. I am really after this rye flavor, the first one I ever had was a limited cask and all the others since have disappointed. Any suggestions there? I am eventually going to try to brew one myself. Rye is cheap.

Clockwise Bear Republic Hop Rod Rye on cask. St bernardus quad. Then East End Gratitude barely wine on REAL cask. Those are the pumps in the bg.

I had my first "CASK" beer the other week. It was Stone Brewery's Arragent Bastard Ale! Oh man was it good and yup he had to pump it pretty good! It was freaking delicious!

I was amazed. The cask is conditioned sort of like a bottle its all natural CO2. But the head lasted all the way down to the bottom. For some reason I thought it would be flatter.

Going with the theme. Stopping into my buddies bar where he happens to have 21st Amendment IPA. This is nice too. Its not the typical IPA. Honestly I dont know how to describe the flavor but diggin it.

Stones Highway 78. A good Scotch ale. It hides it's ABV really well, be careful.

Also on tap tonight is a Belgian stout I brewed in January. Im curious to see how it's aging.

I agree, unlike some in that style. Great collaboration by Stone and friends

Been trying out some of this style lately. And enjoying it.

This one's a collaboration between Avery and Russian River. It's a Belgian strong dark ale.

Maharaja, also from Avery. Batch 13,bottled less than two weeks ago. This is a phenomenal Double/Imperial IPA. 10.30 ABV and you wouldn't even know it. If you're a fan of this style,I highly recommend this

I seriously need to find some Russian River. I don't think its distroed to Pittsburgh. I have never seen it. Everyone has gone on about them lately tho. I need to see what the fuss is about.

In Pitt local beer is not that cheap. All our big brewers are gone and we are left with only craft brewers which suites me just fine. But not cheap I guess its due to the fact that they are smaller batches. Cant compete with BMC price wise.

 Whoa. Trader Joe's totally jipped me then lol.

What I'm drinking tonight... Shame it's not sold in a 6-pack.

...and for later in the weekend:

I had Aprihop on draft the other day. Its pretty damn good. I didnt get a whole lot of apricot but the hops are nice. Like a good IPA (not overdone like a lot of them are)

Found Rauchbier at the grocery store. Was looking for it. Went to the newish Giant Eagle. Didn't even know they had a beer section. That is rare in PA but first thing I see is rauchbier. Trying to save it for Friday.

Beau's Bog Father, Beau's Lug Tread & My Husband's ESB

And I had some Mead earlier and it was awesome! But its gone and it was my last bottle. :(

A beer of champions, and poor drunk people everywhere!! Love a good craft brew, but the crappy stuff does the job just as well!

Not really too light in alcohol. Have to drink soo much to get wasted. I can't even get through one.

I have never had mead but it is really easy to make. Going to try a batch soon.
