I have heard beer from Taiwan is like seltzer water. Asians dont do beer well from what I can see. I have friends living in several Asian countries and they would back that up for me.

India Black Ale that I brewed on Saturday! Can't wait for this one to get out of the fermenter, smells pretty good.

Belgian Trippel, about 50 bottles right out of the fermenter. Many of these are now dead soldiers. Our local brewmaster gave us a secret recipe. It's off the chart good.

Got a batch of Scottish Ale that we'll sample this weekend while bottling a dark ale with a bit of extra hoppiness. Homebrews FTW!

Word to your mum I am into it. Just upset I cant go all grain yet. Need to save up some $$ for a kettle and stuff. Brewing up batch number 2 this weekend. By batch number 3, batch number 1 will be ready to drink to complete one phase of the spiral.

Have you guys heard of Untappd? It's a social network based around beer. I'm guessing a lot of you guys would be interested in it. It's a lot like foursquare, and Miso. You check into different beers/ciders etc. After checking in, you can get badges, ratings, and comments. What I think is cool is that you get recommendations for beers that are similar. There's micro and macro brewery trends. Pretty cool stuff. It's still new and growing but its only getting better.
