But, in general, I tend to prefer Belgian "dubbels", or - better still - Belgian "quadruples".

Family Drama, TIPA 9.2% ABV. Delicious

I have been happily imbibing Trappistes Rochefort 8 - on and off - for the past few days. Delicious.
Not beer, but wine, a Chianti from northern Italy, is keeping me company this evening.
I used to drink nothing but stouts, but sadly grew out of them somehow... This was as good as I ever found. Forgive the hotel "glassware" - but when in Minnesota...
And, tonight's beverages have included the superb Trappistes Rochefort 8, and the simply superlative Trappistes Rochefort 10....
