Here's a new pic of my car. I took it through the good ol' automatic car wash before I took these pics, which does a damn good job. I was standing in my garage when I took this pic. I think it looks cool.

Isn't the RX-8 one of the most inefficient vehicles you can buy?

16/22mpg from a 1.3L engine?

I have to say, this is one of my favorite cars, at any price range.

I agree!
Damn, I didnt know they made a 135i! I always loved the never (and old) 3- series, the new 328 is so sexy...but wow, a BMW that has the looks of it, but since its a lower series, I assume at a hell of a price!

Must...resist...selling car and buying new BMW.....

PS: How do you find it, does it have enough power? I know the 328 pushed about 250 +/- HP which is more than enough.
What Id REALLY love is one of the new M3 BMW coupes!

M3 forever~

135i
Starting at $35,850 MSRP
3.0-liter, turbocharged inline 6-cylinder engine
300 horsepower
Rear-wheel drive

i love the way the car looks but for the price/size/performance its smaller and doesn't have awd like my sti so im looking more at the 335d (265hp twin-turbo diesel with 425lb.-ft. of torque at 1750rpms!!!! ) so sexy

Here's a few videos that show what the BMW 135i can do, I think you'll find them interesting.

As much as I love the 135, the 335d is amazing. Having that much torque would be insane.

From what I was reading, the 335 and the 135 have the same horsepower and torque (300), and the 128i and 328i have 230 hp.
I think the only difference is slightly different styling and also some luxury details

I was referring to the 335d, not the 335i. The 335d has a diesel engine capable of producing HUGE amounts of power, but also getting great fuel economy. BMW should offer a diesel engine in the 1-Series in the US.

foreward: i am a diesel fan.

Still i hear as a sporty car, the 335 just doesnt compare. the diesel motor is a big heavy iron one up front, which kind of doesnt lend itself to performance oriented driving as much

Yeah, that's a good point. I would say that if you're after more of a pure sports car, then go for a 335i or M3. If you want incredible performance with the efficiency of a diesel, go for the 335d. Myself, if I had that kind of money and a choice, I'd get an M3 Sedan. Probably in red.
