hmm well i would take my '07 S6 over a Bimmer anyday esp 335i:D

I'd probably take an S6 over my 335i as well. But I'd take an M3/M5 over the S6. The S5 is pretty much on par with a 335i in performance, which is my point (talking straight line acceleration). I'll definitely give style points to the Audi's. They are gorgeous inside and out.

hey dont get me wrong i love the M5, not so much the M3, but i said MY S6. but stock absolutely take an M5 over S6. i will give you the S6 doesnt have stick and tiptronic can be annoying, but i just love Audi's Quattro all wheel drive.

That is because you can't handle a finely tuned RWD machine and need AWD to compensate for the lack of skill. ;) :p

why would you trade your S5 for a BMW?! Audi's are the best!!
I love both manufacturers mate, I've owned both BMW's & Audi's in the past.

I don't usually keep my cars for any longer than 2 years, It's just my personal preference really - I like to chop and change often.

I've had my S5 for a little over a year and love it, but now is time for a change and I'm considering a 335i, or maybe an M3 if I can afford it.

dont understand these ppl that dont want AWD. i cant wait for your response.

I'm with quagmire I would have RWD over anything else every day of the week.

I've a few AWD and 4WD cars in the past which I appreciate for what they can cope with but nothing beats the sheer driving pleasure of a RWD car :D

im not talking about AWD to cope with off road or snow. you try taking some of the turns in RWD car that you can take in an AWD car and get back to me. try it on route 1 in Cali, but then you might not be able to get back to me. do it somewhere where there arent cliffs. dont want to loose any MR members.

Erm, you can take the same corner in an AWD, RWD, FWD or dune buggy!

It depends on the car your in, the handling of it and more importantly the speed you enter the corner.

I remember the saying "Where power meets control"

For instance who is the better driver:

Person A who drives their AWD car at lightning speeds round some really sharp corners and they don't crash because the car is built for it

or Person B who takes their FWD car at 40mph through the tight streets of Sienna?
