Built in Canada and only for Canada, can't go wrong.

Well that and they are a notch up appearance wise over the Civic.

Here's my '99 Toyota Corolla. It's a manual, my third car & I'm 18. I'm hoping to buy something more exciting when I finish Uni & when insurance isn't so expensive. :)

Wow, that looks a whole lot different than the '99 Corolla in the US. My Mom has a '00 Chevy Prizm, which is just a Corolla with a Chevy badge. Good cars, but as you said, not very exciting.

I wouldn't mind owning a Corolla XRS, which has the engine from a Celica GT-S. Pretty sure the redline on those is around 8k. Definitely exciting. What would be really cool is to swap that engine into my Mom's Prizm.

Its called the Cherokee in europe

Touche.

I find it amusing how marquees of large vehicles in the states are the smaller vehicles in other countries.

Another example:

In Europe, the Toyota Land Cruiser is a State-side Lexus GX and in the States we get the ginormous Toyota Land Cruiser.

Ohhhhhh the American culture.

You get the land cruiser in europe too it is our sequoia.
What you have to realize is that the Lexus GX IS the Land Cruiser we are just one model iteration behind. It was developed by Toyota to be the new land cruiser and because of import costs we get a sexed up version. Same thing with our BMW 7 series and Infiniti cars. In europe you can get a six banger diesel 728D with cloth seats and roll up windows.

Yea I did, I just don't think I have ever seen two models so close in body style from different brands, even if they are still part of the same company.

Though the Acura looks like it has a much nicer interior.

i agree with you, and i even noticed that the newly released Toyota Venza looks awfully similar to the Lexus RS, but for the record i don't know squat about the actual comparisons of the two, meaning interior and whatnot, i'm just talking about exterior looks.

I see the Venza like a smaller Chrysler Pacifica. And based on size, the Venza is considered a car/hatchback vehicle, compared to the RS, which is considered an LUV (luxury utility vehicle). But since I know nothing about cars performance...I only know based on status, Lexus is supposed a dominant brand, kind of like Apple.

2007 Scion tC

I'm selling it because I'm moving to San Francisco in a month and a half, so I figured I should get in this thread while I still have a car. You know what they look like so I took a picture showing its defining features. :D

I have a Civic Type-R front bumper sitting in my garage :)
Just waiting for my grill to arrive (the last one broke during shipping)! Should be here next week!
