Am I the only Saab owner on this forum? What gives?
I do not think you are, I've seen a few posted. I happen to like Saab, but they don't make a truck. ;)

Bonnet = hood SVT. ;)

Oooohhh. Thanks ;)
Funny how things can get lost in translation. At least I know "Boot" = Trunk here in the states LOL.

The hood is Carbon Fiber and here in the states, It's almost a sin to paint CF hoods as that hides the woven fabric and will diminish the quality and luster as it shines in the sun or under lights at night. If you ever seen carbon fiber in person, you'd understand that point-of-view too ;)

BTW, the car is Orange. I didn't use a very good camera though :(

I'm putting a CF hood on my NSX next month, and I'm definitely going to paint it the same color as the car before it goes on. IMO bare CF on a street car, especially overlay, is poser material.

Good to see some fellow CTD owners on here. Although I have a penchant for expensive autos, I want to see some beat up and used stuff. Let's see some more oil burners!

A Corsa with lipstick on! My mum had a 54 Corsa and it was an alright car but the interior was very dated. It's a shame that they used the same one on the Tigra.

Incidentally though, I've tried a few cars with steering wheel audio controls and so far the Corsa has been the best in terms of positioning. They're just right and feel great to use.

Sorry to be a long time coming back.

I drove a one of the new Corsa's, the SXi for 3 weeks just before I got my Tigra. Although the Tigra is based on the Corsa chassis, it's nothing like it to drive. The suspension on the SXi (different from the rest of the range) was so hard it upset my stomach and there were far to many of the small driving actions made automatic, each with their own peep sound and it drove me crackers! The Tigra has a much nicer feel inside, not at all clunky. The seats are really comfortable, as is the suspension, and it seems to wrap around you nicely when you're in it. Not for everyone, but I like it! :)

Old Car: 92 Nissan Maxima SE - lowered with 18" Enkei rims

New Car: 97 Chysler Concorde LX - nothin but a sound system

I miss my Maxima so much, but that said, the Concorde is comfortable, newer, and of course, PURPLE.

Here are a few pics of my 68 Camaro. I sold her a few years ago (3 years ago). Had her for about 8 years. Where I got her she was a rust bucket, but did a 100% refurb and this is what she looked like when i sold her. Though you might enjoy...

My Suzuki Jimny is too ugly and too grungy to show it between all the fantastic cars :D

(I used to drive Alfa Romeo years ago, but today I'm pragmatic)

Why would you sell that car, especially after all the work you put into it?

I had it since I was in my early 20's. The Novelty had worn off, I had to pay for a wedding... It didn't really get driven all that much anymore so it was just it's time.

Man, that thing is CLEAN! What year is it? My Dad bought a '96 GT brand new when they first came out. Pacific Green Metallic. Coupe, 5 Speed. He didn't think it was fast enough. :p

I thought it was awesome, though, and plenty quick enough. Also, he never modded it or anything when he had it and I can remember the stock exhaust sounding really good. Man, I loved that car. :)

It's a 97 and I just turned over 99k. Mine is still stock but hopefully one day I'll do an engine swap once I get another DD and save up some money.

"cough" "cough"

excuse me :)

4,000lbs guided missiles. :D

its true though. people in north america always want the biggest car when its not needed. then they complain about paying so much for gas.

vw polo is coming to north america next year i think. vw has awesome small cars.
