MMMM nice. I only have the A4 though. Nice body kit. What muffler is that? Looks magnaflow something to me, which I am adding this week, but I think I may change to the tips you have as its quite nice. Just realized I have the euro trunk though...odd because mine is a 96 A4....I thought all S4s came with the facelifted euro trunks?

Thanks. It's the Autospeed 89mm TruDual catback exhaust. My brother had a quad magnaflow exhaust setup on his 1.8t and it sounds damn good as well, it should put a nice smile on your face once you get it installed :D

As for the trunk, the B5 S4 never received the Euro trunk in NA. If you see one on an S4 here, it's either because they sourced out the euro part, or they bought one of an older B5 A4.

Thanks for the info. Decided to stick with what I chose, the Magnaflow 14862 as it looks closest to stock. I do not want to look like its modded, because its not at all. The 12 valve 2.8V6 engine has no worthwhile mods  But that's good, because I only want to put money into a race car, not a DD that's 14 years old. Handling is more important anyway than HP IMO....Now if I can only find the upper adjustable arms to alter camber and caster...I just bought some sticky tires :-D

Heres the tips:

Enjoy your S4, I am quite envious. In due time though...but after the house, the retirement savings, emergency savings, and savings savings ;) In the mean time, I'll AutoX it from time to time. Not losing much at all if I break it right?

I could tell from the headlights and the sideskirts that you keep that Audi very clean. :) Kudos!

Look into the Stern adjustable upper control arms. That's the kit I'll be going with next time I replace mine. 034 Motorsport also has a good adjustable kit, but the Sterns are nicer imo.

Thanks

Go with the stern ones....the 034 arms are...well cheesy. I put a set on for a customer last week and was not impressed. The Stern arms are VERY well made.

By the way..the Audi is beautiful. My buddy has a stage 3 S4 that we completed last year for him. only bad thing is his is an auto tragic.

FWIW, I put a Magnaflow cat-back on my 330Ci earlier this year, and its quality exceeds its price point. I am happy with the change. About the only reason to replace a factory exhaust system is sound and weight savings. I chose the Magnaflow because the sound is more aggressive than the stock exhaust but it's not a loud, boy racer sound (at 54 years, I'm kind of past that...). And I dropped 26 pounds from the car by replacing the original exhaust.

^^^I thought about going as loud as possible, but for a car with only decent horsepower even back in its day 14 years ago, it would just be ridiculous being a poser. I'll try to get a before and after sound clip for fun. I really can't find any of the 14862 with both resonator deletes. The weight savings is another thing I want. When I take it AutoXing, I spend a day stripping out the easy stuff :-D

The 034 vs Stern comments: thanks. Not much savings anyway for the 034...

I've had my 2011 VW Golf GTD for about 5 weeks now. Great car, a lot of fun to drive for a diesel.

Its has a DSG-6 gearbox which is simply the best autobox I have ever encountered. THe shifts are incredibly fast and as good as seemless.

You don't come across many Dutch people who are actually being active on this forum. When it comes to cars, I believe I've only seen one other person showing his car, which would be me.

Nice car, though! Love the new look of those cars.

I drive a Mini Cooper of last summer and an BMW X5 of this year. Awesome cars as well. I will post some pictures in the near future.

I don't think it's his. If you click the link in his signature you go to his photography business's website with that picture as well as many other high end cars.

However, if I'm wrong and it is yours CONGRATS. Sweet car. And, nice photos on the website.

If he post a white BMW 1-series, it is his, everything else just ignore it ;)
