Here are a couple of phots of my little girls

First we have Rose, she was born on September 4th 1965 ex military Rover Mk8 GS that was once FFR. She was demobbed in 1975 ish and last served with the Lancashire Regiment ,hence the name Rose.

Now we have my true love ( but don't tell Rose!) Ladies and Gentlemen I give you Daisy.

Daisy is a Series One 109 born in 1957 and is more fun than a bucket of soapy frogs and more trouble than a house full of teenagers. Best of all she is mine.

My two little girls are just working toys, doing what needs to be done for my everyday drive I have an astra.

My first car that's reliable. It's also something I purchased with my own money at 18 so it's my baby. I love it despite the fact it's nothing fancy.

It's good for the Michigan winters though. Better then the Nissan I drove for a couple of months prior until the clutch gave out.

I can tell you really love that car, just judging from the amount of posts with it you've made here ;)

lol. Yea sorry. If I had another car I'd take photos of that but for now my Prelude will have to do. But yes I really do love my car. Its the best :) no everyone I know who has had one says they miss it and give me compliments on mine. I still envy NSX and M3 owners as I would love to have one of those one day and I will! but I cannot give up the Prelude. It's just too good to me.

I post as often as I can to see if I can get some feedback on photoshop. I would like to learn some new techniques that you guys might like to share with me :p

but yes I love my ride! :D:D:D:cool:

My last two tin cans here in Japan...the black one is a 2008 Daihatsu Mira Custom X, the blue one is a 2009 Daihatsu Mira Custom X (interior shots are of the black one):

Changes for 2009 included different wheels, side mirror mounted blinkers, and a stub antenna on the top of the back of the roof. Interior got a more intricate gauge pod.

Pretty sure it took all 58 HP to get out of this lol:

Sweet vintage ride. Love the color, and looks like you take great care of her (him?).

Your little city car has such a... blunt front. It's interesting.

Thanks, I've had it over 11 years now, and not a scratch on it. Wearing 20 year old paint, flawlessly maintained with hand washes and Meguiar's. Stored winters since new, only driven on the nicest of summer days. I've been told a couple times that the bottom picture should've been included in the dealer brochure.:D

The little car actually isn't bad for what it is, 660cc 3-banger and 58 hp lol. Given how light it is, it's surprisingly quick for what it is. Doesn't feel slow at all since all the other cars on the road are similar, and the speed limits are slow and the roads are narrow/tight. As for the front end, it's one of the longer noses out there for the little tin cans here lol. For reference, that hood is only 14-16 inches from front to back lolol.

Very nice. Keep up the great preservation work!

And yeah, for little tiny "cans," we only have the Smart over here in the states, although, I do see a lot of 'em in the cities (like here in Boston).

I love your garage. You live in Dubai?

No, he does not. The country is United Arabian Emirates. That's what U.A.E. stands for on his license plate. The A.D. on his license plate stands for Abu Dhabi. Which is the capital city of the UAE. License plates from people in Dubai would simply state "Dubai".

Extra fun info: In the UAE, license plates do not belong to each separate car. The license plate belongs to the owner. Therefore license plates are being sold for ridiculous amounts. His license plate tells you he must be local. Not a foreign born citizen of the UAE. Why? Because foreign people are not aloud to choose or pay for their numbers. This one is quite nice, so it's been paid for and chosen carefully. But that's just my 2c ;)

I see, thanks! I knew he was in the UAE, but I didn't notice the A.D. there. Nice to know though. Even though I have friends in Dubai, I never really paid attention to the exact writings on the license plate.

I've seen the pics you posted before of that Camaro, and you are right, the bottom pic should have been in the brochure. :) It's sad to see so many of those in such poor condition. If I had seen your car on the road, I would have given you a thumbs up. That blue looks goooood.

I love your RS. It's interesting the way you treat it -- I'm sure it's harder to find in Australia, and I actually love them. Where I live (North Carolina, USA) these are typically driven with one or more bumpers dragging by people who can't spell their own name.

You're right about the bottom shot. It's great that you take such good care of it!

HOW did I miss this?!?! BEAUTIFUL and clean Type-R, man!!! It's about this time last year that my buddy's yellow Type-R was stolen and stripped down to it's frame.. :(

Thanks for the compliment :) and sorry about your friend's ITR. Honda built a great car and probably will never build another like it. And because of this many thieves and low lives will try to steal it.

wow!! That's one beautiful looking ITR! Question... doe you know the diameter size of the exhaust on the Type R? Particularly the exhaust gaskets? Between the mid-section and muffler?

Thanks!
I believe the factory exhaust is 2.25".

TSX retrofitted HIDs and lowbeams painted gunmetal.

I have a lot of respect for anyone that keeps a car in such good condition. That's a labor of love.

Love the pre-III Rovers.

Thanks! The car is actually back in the states, the Aus location in my pro is just for kicks.

Hisdem, as idutchman correctly said, Abu Dhabi UAE. Where the F1 finishing upright now

Idtuchman, everything youve said is correct except my plates numbers are not bought. The panamera is truly a nice number but it was totally random haha, as you can see even the 911 turbo has a random number. I'm not that into the number identifying thing.

ah, ok. Nice cars anyways though. I drive a dec. 2009 BMW X5 myself but when I am in Dubai I always feel like my BMW X5 is just another shopping car over there:p

I'd figured it's just the price. The BMW X5 cost like 105.000 Euros here in Holland as it would cost a lot less in Dubai or in the US for that matter.

But that Panamera is nice, can't stress that enough;)
