I know of two of those from following BTCC, and a third for some odd festival they keep having.
Damn you with your cable tv and Internet
I have a 05 Evo VIII and '98 Techniqe Tuning STIII M3.
The Evo has a little less than 400 awhp. Love that car in the snow and bad weather.
The M3 is setup as a track car approx 450 rwhp.
I don't get out to the track as often anymore since my daughter was born, but used to get out there with some local BMW and Porsche clubs.
I used to have a pretty nicely setup Mini Cooper S. Got her up to about 200 fwhp and got rid of some of her weight. That car was a pleasure to drive at the track. Couldn't hang with the big boys on the straights, but would make up time through the twisties!
I should really read this thread closer! You've got to love Minis, we've just sold a JCW Cooper S, was great fun but we had too many cars!! Is your M3 a 6? 450 seems a lot of power! The lotus runs a 185hp twin-cam that's power comes in at 4500rpm and goes through to 9000 (if you want to spend £10000 each drive for a rebuild ) but it does weigh 700kg so you do the maths
