Yes, although 1-series is more practical and can be taken on road trips (to races), and costs less. I also miss my E46 M3.Tough choice. I say Cayman S. Just because it's a Porsche AND because the interior is IMO fantastic.

what year is your z? The rims look great on the red. (my Monterey Blue is posted earlier)
I Never watch Motor Trend, but it just happened to be starting and they were going to review the 1 Series M, so I watched it. Man what a hot car, but when they said its only 10k less then an M3, I thought, "No that's ok, I save a little more and get an M3"
^^^ But the M3 is no longer decently lightweight....it's a friggen pig!

Ahhh understandable. The other factor to consider is exclusivity/ collect-ability. The 1M wins there correct?
Ah, GS.. mine were all AWD. AWD and turbo is soooooo much more fun. Especially if you are in an area with snow.Yeah I really miss my eclipse it was allot of fun to drive. It was just a Gs with the 420a engine though. I totaled it out about 2 years ago when I hit someone going 70mph thankfully no one was hurt. I liked the DSM scene but I will say my 240 is a better car in every way compared to my eclipse. Faster, handles better, sounds better, RWD, easy to get it sideways lolz. Also the 240/Drifting scene has been treating me right.
You will be happy with the Blizzaks. I am ordering a winter wheel/tire setup for my new WRX STI and those are the tires I'm probably getting. I'm also considering the LM-60s which are less squishy, but don't have as good snow traction. Both of these tires were recommended by the TireRack sales rep I've dealt with for years.Yesterday I just bought a set of Bridgestone Blizzak WS70 and had those mounted, considering it's RWD and I live in New England. I'm eager to see how they perform: from what I've been reading, they sound like the good choice for a winter tires.
Haven't driven much today, but you can deff tell they are not performance tires at above legal speeds (80+ on dry asphalt felt a tad squirrelly). More detailed reviews to come! You will be happy with the Blizzaks. I am ordering a winter wheel/tire setup for my new WRX STI and those are the tires I'm probably getting. Yes, they will squishy and not inspire confidence at higher speeds, but that's not what they are for. If you want dry performance, you'll have to compromise on snow + ice traction. There is no ideal tire for multiple situations.Haven't driven much today, but you can deff tell they are not performance tires at above legal speeds (80+ on dry asphalt felt a tad squirrelly). Just the first 300 miles helps a lot, to shave off the mold release compound.brand new tires need to be broken in as well. give them a good 2k miles to get a little stickier

Though, yeah the 240 is definitely more fun than a GS.
OK. Here's a couple of the new WRX STI. Only 140 miles on it. Getting clearbra on Thursday. Will wait a couple months for tint (no need for it in winter). I would like to add a front strut tower brace, but need to figure out which one and where to buy it.
This car is a beast. Reminds me of my E46 M3 in terms of performance. I got it with the short throw shifter, which is awesome. Great gearbox on this car. Still have to figure out what I can do with the adjustable dual LSD. Sport# mode is nice...love the throttle mapping it provides.

I have seen that. This car is primarily for my wife, and we wanted something now, something AWD, and something we could deal for. I imagine once the BRZ sees the light of day, it will be at a premium. I got a great deal on the STI buying out of dealer inventory.nice whip, have you seen suburus new BRZ prototype?
Yes, the scoop is functional. It directs airflow over the IC. The vents behind the front wheels are also functional pulling more air volume through the engine bay.Great pic, awesome color, good choice! Boost buggies on track must be soooo much fun!
I am curious however, is the hood scoop functional, or purely cosmetic like on a Mustang?
