Not new, they don't. Base price is $40K. By the time you option it decently, you're at $45K.They go for like $35k in the US..

Prior to getting a WRX STi recently, my plan was to get a 135i or a 1M Coupe ($50K) in a couple years, but BMWs keep going up and up in price, so I decided to be more economical. In 4-5 years I may rethink my car again.

Yeah, the 135i hits $35K and goes well past that quickly once you start optioning it.Yeah I messed up there. I thought since the 128i starts at around $31k the price difference would be in the $5k mark.
It wouldn't likely save you any money, because turning standard features into options just makes manufacturing that much more expensive.I wish I could miss the days of delete options.... AC? No thanks...Stereo? nope, rear seats? no....etc...
^^Not necessarily for saving money, just weight savings, unless of course I was willing to buy the factory customer race cars that just need to be built up..... I believe the Z4 was offered like that?
Yes, they will squishy and not inspire confidence at higher speeds, but that's not what they are for. If you want dry performance, you'll have to compromise on snow + ice traction. There is no ideal tire for multiple situations.
As a follow up...brand new tires need to be broken in as well. give them a good 2k miles to get a little stickier

Having put around 800 dry-weather miles on the Blizzaks, a marked improvement is noticeable. It seems wet weather traction is also improved over standard all-season tires, and from a standing stop, less slippage in the rear. The road noise, which wasn't bad to start, has decreased, and 75MPH on the interstate feels fine. Overall, very happy with 'em so far.
Still waiting on some snow... I'll go find a nice open parking lot to really test their abilities.

Isn't the 135i Coupé pretty expensive? Trying to get one in Germany...but I can get a decent 3 series BMW for that price.
That thing should be pretty unstoppable, between the AWD and Blizzaks! Eager to hear of your snow-ventures.I installed Blizzak LM60 tires on my WRX STi two days ago. Snow? Bring it on!!!!
One of the reasons we got a STi for my wife is that she works in a hospital and absolutely has to be there, and on time, come hell or high water. We wanted a car that will do the job. I hate trucks and SUVs so those weren't a consideration. That thing should be pretty unstoppable, between the AWD and Blizzaks! Eager to hear of your snow-ventures.
I drive the silver Acura TL. 2005 with 106K miles. Just had the timing belt, spark plugs, water pump, and many other little things replaced per manufacturer's recommended service at 105K miles. Its never been running smoother- seems like Honda engines just get better with age.

Dad drives the 2006 Z06 and the 2007 GL450. Sister drives the 2009 C350. The Z06 was the 483rd off the production line for that year.
