We will likely get a WRX sedan next fall. My wife gets a new car and she is set on one. I still have to get her to test drive one and make sure she can manage the throttle on a turbo with such an abrupt powerband. She is used to driving BMWs with silky smooth powerband.

OK. Here's a couple of the new WRX STI. Only 140 miles on it. Getting clearbra on Thursday. Will wait a couple months for tint (no need for it in winter). I would like to add a front strut tower brace, but need to figure out which one and where to buy it.

This car is a beast. Reminds me of my E46 M3 in terms of performance. I got it with the short throw shifter, which is awesome. Great gearbox on this car. Still have to figure out what I can do with the adjustable dual LSD. Sport# mode is nice...love the throttle mapping it provides.

It's still a pig for a performance car.

It's not a race car, nor is it close to being a "pig". It's a sport sedan. As much as I'd like to buy a lighter version of the 335i, I still want heated seats, electric seats, NAV, etc. It's a street car that 99% of buyers will use as a daily driver.

Glad they are reducing weight over 2011, but the market demands creature comforts at this price point.

The STI weighs 400 lbs more than my E30 M3 and the Lancer Evo is 600 lbs more! Pigs? No. Just more modern with more "stuff".

I just got a 1999 A6 Quattro 2.8. I was hoping to find an Avant but my MK2 GTI went down. I was going to sell it anyway so I didnt want to put anymore into it. I have a payment again  but only for 12 months. Then back to being debt free.

Nice car!

Nice with the 505s, I had some SP500s on my Z06, and some classics in 18x10, 18x11.5 for the track (CCW is an outstanding company ... they're about an hour and a half south of me).
LOVE the 500's man! Took me forever to decide between the two (and I second guess the choice daily LOL). Melissa and the team over there are the best out there. TRULY great company and even better product!

WOW more pics please!

THANKS Bud!

Yeah, just about all the CCW designs are pretty stellar ... here's my SP500s, later I wound up with iForged (went through like 4 sets of after market wheels ... always crazy deals I couldn't pass up).

Also BPP hood, SW rear, Caravaggio seats, C6Z51 brakes custom PC'ed, etc., etc.

Pigs, with more modern stuff. :p

+1

My car probably just got totaled yesterday. Pics to come soon of my battered car, but the rental car is a new Ford Fusion. Honestly, I am just so damn bored already.....time to look for another E30. Weight plays one of the most crucial roles in a cars feel IMO.

And the modern stuff? ugh, booring as well.

The result of a lady running a red light while on her cell phone just this Sunday. I saw she was going to be in my door, so I floored it, and she ended up in my tail instead. I bought a car without airbags and low weight for a reason: AutoX... Still, think I will pick up another but this time with an S50/52 swap. Or a 240z with a 350sb swap...

The '03 Z06... My daily driver with all the usual bolts ons (409rwhp).

:D
That is real nice. My dream is to one day have the funds to replace my dad's '68 Corvette that he was duped into selling because it wasn't a "family car." I say never sell a car because it's not a family car if there is a 4-door in the family already.

Let me start off saying I do not know too much about the European cars as old American muscle is what I have/work on.

I take it the 325 is not an IRS so my guess is she broke the axle? Also where she hit you really isn't that awful. As a body man, I would see if I could salvage that body line (doesn't look like she damaged it from the pictures) and put a patch panel in. That has no real contour so I would believe it won't be that much to fix. Did she do any damage to the inter wheel well? Trunk looks fine too.

I want one of those now after seeing yours. Auto X in that thing would be amazing.

Nissan Maxima. bought it from my dad cheap. power everything. heated leather seats and heated steering wheel. cabin temperature control. Im not a huge fan of bose but it came with the car. The car is pretty fast. My previous car was also a v6 and this has way more torque. I like it for what it is. I just wish it was black instead of grey.

not my pic. same color and car though.
