Doing what it's built to do :D

Tire sizes pretty much maxed out, when turning, the inside wheel has MAYBE 1cm of clearance to the flared fender edge... 235/40/17 on 8.5s
I love how flat this car stays, but then again, to do that I had to reinforce some things ;-)
Got it weighed when corner balancing and it came in @ 3001 lbs with me in it. Including sub and stereo for long drives to the track ;-) No weight reduction of any kind, but with the engine+tranny swap I needed more rear weight bias. 55% front/45% rear right now. Of course battery is already in the rear...

Hunched over as my head hits the roof :-(

Lined up with the competition:

Someone wants to trade me their 2002 E46 M3 Imola 6spd-no sunroof though...debating. This car pulls on e46 m3s quite well, and is setup, but it's the luxury that I miss....

Photo from yesterday's autoX. My car rolled off the assembly line and the engine was started for the first time 10 years ago today (aka: production status code 155). I was calling BMWNA on a daily basis for status updates on my special ordered car back then. Some new M3 Shadowline window trim is sitting in a FedEx facility at the moment and will be installed this week, along with new door seals. I will take a couple of beauty shots once that is on the car.

Here's my 77 280Z which has been with me since 2004. Back behind it is my fuel sipper, the soul-less 1997 Geo Prizm. Hopefully a 2004+ Mercedes CLK will be added to the family soon.

I see more and more of these. Very sharp car. I saw an LTZ model yesterday and it was very nice.

Thanks! I love it. First new car and I'm SO in love with it. GM is back! This thing feels solid as a rock. I had an '01 Cavalier and it was so cheap feeling. This thing feels like a Mercedes compared to that. I love it. And to be a 1.8, it runs GREAT. Sounds like it has an aftermarket intake.

I drive a BMW Z4 Roadster, which I purchased in 2009. This car is my pride and joy. :)

That's awesome. My uncle has a 2011, as well. NICE! His is an extended cab Z-71. It's REALLY nice. It's that Charcoal Gray color with body color grille and stuff. Loaded up. GM is making some really nice cars. I'm SO beyond happy with mine.

I wanted a 4 door version LTZ, but I couldn't afford it. I got mine with the two extended cab, 4x4 (not Z71) with only 11k miles on it for 26k. Couldn't pass that up. I'm actually surprised how good it is, it's my first Chevy.

Man, that sounds like a damn good deal. And yeah, I wanted a Cruze RS, but I wanted to try and get a lower payment.

I live in a city, there are too many cars as it is![/QUOTE]

Nice! Triple benefit... You get the exercise, you save money on gas and parking, and it's good for the environment.
