Below is my 1986 325 E30. Bought it two days after I got my license, and I've been working on it ever since. I've probably driven it 1/100th of the hours I've put in, but its definitely fun to work on. I'm now trying to remove the fuel tank.

Most important mods include M20B25 engine swap, Apex 60/40 lowering springs, Bilstein Sport Shocks, UUC Short Shift Kit w/DSSR, MarkD chip, Rota Slipstreams (from GB), and some other stuff I don't immediately recall. Future plans include a 3.46LSD and some lower springs or coilovers.

S52 swap, with the usual bolt-ons, about 230-240rwhp.

Your car looks good! What lip is that? And yes, on R3V under the handle R3Z3N.

Wow a lot of 3 series in this thread.

I was close to getting a 335xi back in 08 but it was mid $30k to $40k WITHOUT any of the nice electronic toys.

I personally thought the Infiniti G35x was a better deal; I got it for $30k and it came with Navigation, Intelligent Cruise Control, Bose Sound System, and everything on the option list...Plus it drove just like the 335xi with similar power...

I think BMW are great cars and they sure as hell look amazing. Yet I think you got a great deal, so kudos to you! :)

I daily drive the truck, the Jeep on my trailer I have had forever and used to daily drive it, now its kinda my toy..

Well, right now I use a honda civic that is kinda beat up. Maybe after I buy a new car (saving up for along the lines of a ford shelby. Long way away...), maybe then...

Not sure on the lip, it came with the car. Even the PO couldn't remember which one it was!

I'll keep a look out for you, I'm under Andy348 there also.
