Nice. Really like the rims and the color is spot on. Bet it's got a sweet interior too. Mt or auto? Just read where Mercedes was recalling a bunch of diesels in Europe. Gotten a notice? VW dieselgate seems to be expanding. Seems like all the manufacturers are under investigation for fudging on their diesel emissions. Loved my 2012 Sportwagen TDi with 6mt, but sold it back to VW. Pretty happy with it's replacement...2013 Audi S4.

It's an auto. From what I've read its the only way to go with a MB.

Car is on 2015 plate no recall notices as yet. It's a 220 AMG sport edition. Interior is nice as you say. Particularly like the seats and the fact you can actually get two adults in the back.

I went from a Golf GTI to a Golf R, because turning it up to 11 is better, right?

Turns out, a regular GTI will generally suffice for my local road conditions. Behind the wheel of this I feel like Luke Skywalker wrestling with the Dark Side - it will only end in tragedy (or hefty fines). I'd like to have fun with it, but a Golf R is more fun than my location allows - and keeping a lid on it is no fun at all.

Thinking about selling it and buying something more sensible. Some fully depreciated Urban Assault Vehicle that I don't mind getting scratched or bent. Gonna drive real slow in the fast lane and send Golf R drivers insane. ;)

Basically my dream car right now. Love the looks and the performance. I agree though I would quickly be out of money after tickets.

I'll give you a test drive but then you will want one so beware.

No the 3 should be here hopefully early 2018 but no specifics for a while.

Just reserved my 3 today so I'll have another year's wait. Which is fine, because then I'll get plenty of use out of my ATS. But this Friday, July 28th, is the second "unveiling," with the first 30 people in line getting their Model 3. Hopefully we'll be seeing a lot more of the trim levels and options and other specifics.

Very nice! Wish Mazda sold those here on the other side of the pond. Really sad that avants/tourers/wagons just don't sell here. Had a 2012 VW Jetta Sportwagen TDi but "dieselgate" took care of that...sold it back to VW. Have one wagon in the family, wife's 2010 VW Passat Wagon (2.0 turbo gasser). Wife loves it. She can throw all her junk in the back and the car goes like stink...she has a lead foot. BTW, I think you borrowed one of my quotes except mine starts with "100mph tape... I come from an aviation read helo bacground. Anyway, use it in good health. :D
