Booty time This doesn't show off the new wheels very well, but you do get a sense of the width of the new rubber, the fitment (I'll have much better photos soon, doing some promo pics):
MORE PICTURES please.^^^^Don't get me wrong, dirt is cool. Done some 4 wheelin years ago out west in Jeeps and Land Rovers. Gotten a bit older and like a bit more comfort. Mine's shiney, it's an Audi.
Tintz!!!!!!
Nice photog! Where was that taken?
Thanks! We've gotten a lot of compliments on it. It's flat. The color is called cool grey khaki, a new color for 2018 model Crosstreks.Very nice color. Is it a flat or metallic?
Interesting. Yes, it looks like a lighter shade of something the Germans offer. Very nice and unique in a sea of typical color choices. Thanks! We've gotten a lot of compliments on it. It's flat. The color is called cool grey khaki, a new color for 2018 model Crosstreks.
Does your FPIU have ghost decals? I didn't see a decal on the side, although it doesn't seem to be undercover... Was about to reply to that post and go back but you're here anywayIt's "SHO" time. Picked up my 2017 Taurus SHO yesterday. Twin turbo 3.5/AWD.

Also, nice Taurus! Really like the clean grill that comes with the SHO, but it's a lot to pay for that small detail. And for some reason I on't like any of Ford's civilian hubcaps, much prefer black steel wheels or their [cheap looking although I like them] law enforcement(?) hubcaps (attached below)
Sorry for all of the crazy formatting, what a mess
Right, I understand this is TaurusThanks. This isn't a Police Interceptor. It's the Civilian SHO model with the ecoboost engine that's exclusive to the SHO. The wired mesh grill is also only for the SHO model. I don't know what you mean by Fords hubcaps, but these are 20" wheels that I chose as an option for this vehicle.
The Police interceptor models come with 18/19" painted black wheels (No hub caps) and have the option of the 3.5 Ecoboost engine or 3.7 L. without the turbo chargers.

I like the cleaner grill of the SHO Taurus or FPIS, the lines on the grill of the more affordable Taurus models are cheap and ugly looking in my opinion
As for the hubcaps, I just don't like the rims / hubcaps that come with the civilian Ford vehicles, as I stated above I like the steel wheels or the ones shown in the picture. Here's an example of an FPIU that has hubcaps
& maybe it was confusing, but I was also talking about your issued FPIU you've posted in this thread way back when, when I asked about the ghost decals
Yeah and all Ford press images or models have the steel wheels, maybe Ford prefers that look but offers them to agencies that want them? Now I understand. Yes, that is my Ford Explorer Interceptor. The Lower end Taurus models do have a grill I don't care for and the wheel set up is also not my preference. At least in my area from what I have seen, The new Interceptors do not have hubcaps, they are all painted black wheels. But I know what you're referring too.
