nice Scion skubish ... how do you like it? i like the design; i've wondered how they perform in real life. it's a nice looking car. those little boxes are cool too. it's still no element though.

It is great. It is got a pretty sporty feel to it. It is no Lancer Evo or Lexus IS300 but then it is about half the price of both those cars. Decent acceleration. I really like the satellite radio to.

Modern American cars really bore me. They all seem to look the same as each other! (Well, from class to class)

I'm much more a fan of the European car, and without sounding like a rich bitch/chav scum I like the BMW's! But for my first car, I have this lovely little Vauxhall Corsa (Vauxhall's the british trading name for Opel).

What do people think of hatchbacks? I hear it's tantamount to career suicide to drive one of these in america (which is why you can't get them?)

There are some hatchbacks in the US. My Scion tC posted up above is a hatchback. I think they are started to gain popularity as the SUV fade I think hit its peak and is declining.

I try to link the pix from Car Domain. I hope this works (if not, I will edit it later).

I keep my Chevy clean with properly sealed and waxed and garaged most of the time and only drive it on dry days. I drive a new Pontiac Grand Am for business.

Nice car YS2003! My next car WILL be orange!
Thanks, Hob. My Z24 is the last model before Chevy revamped this model in the mid 2002 with 2.2 Eco Tech engine (GM put in almost all the options on this car except for a sun roof). It's a light car and a 2.4 L twin cam engine gives it a nice pick up.

The color is red; because of the lighting angle and paint sealant/wax, its reflection under sun light gives off an orangish tint to red.

2000 Honda Civic, first newer car i bought..... notice the license plate???

Lots of nice, and expensive cars in members driveways

mines a black 1999 honda CR-V -- i'de love to have a little sporty thing, but my lifestyle does really allow it

i gotta roof rack for skis/bikes, big trunk for lugging around gear (cameras/lights, extension cords 'lol' -- 2x4's -- just about anything i need) -- pretty damn good on gas

i can sleep in this thing if i need to (done it a few times)

it's pretty much like my mobile office - i spent most of my time running from school to assignment -- Cellphone is my best friend/worst enemy

i'de take pictures but it's totally covered in salt right

to be honest, i wouldn't trade this thing -- even though i love driving my dad's C230

i think i'm just going to buy a Motorcycle (but thats a ways away <-- my insurence is too high right now as it is)

Well, my car at the moment is a Scania, and I get chauffeur driven! I can make as many trips as I want for $50, yes $50 a month and it's a stretch limo at 15 m long! In case you haven't guessed, I CATCH THIS BUS:

HAHAHAHA!

But our family's main car is a Ford Fairlane G220. It's an Australian model for those who are going, wtf?!?!?! I hope to "inherit" this car one day when we get a new one in a year or two.... But I'll probably end up with a Focus or one of those new Astras.

Here it is:

My favourite part about the car is the screen on the dashboard. Here is a pic of it on a holiday in Melbourne a year or two back. It was VERRRRY HOTTTT... 41 degrees C (about 105 deg. fahrenheit). As you can see it was doing pretty poorly on fuel consumption when the photo was taken. It was doing 11 L/100km, or about 22 mpg. It's now doing 9 L/100 km, or 26 mpg in the city traffic which is still mediocre, but pretty good for a 220 kW V8... And it's rear wheel drive as well... One thing american cars lack these days (the Taurus failed here because of that, and because it looked ugly as hell!)

that's the dopest Ford i've seen in a long while ... how long has the Fairlane been on sale down there? They should put this one back on the market up here ... though it would probably end up in the cop shops.

Nah the Australian fairlane is supposed to be the 'luxury' model, like a Crown Victoria is/was in America. It shares design cues with the lower Ford Falcon, see http://www.ford.com.au/falcon/ for more info. The Fairlane has been on sale since the 60s I think... we used to import them from America, along with a lot of other Ford stuff! Now the only american cars in the Ford Australia lineup are the F250, F350 and the Explorer, which will probably be canned because it's selling terribly here. Compared to the jap stuff the Explorer is very small inside. But all in all, the newer Australian Fairlanes are entirely different from the concept of the old American ones.

I really like your car. I love small European hatchbacks. No one in North America seems to get it right, except Volkswagen.

Saab did have the 9-3 as a hatchback since its intro, but then GM went and f*cked it all up.

with all of these pictures of australian cars, and all of the research i have done looking at the falcon, the monaro, the yute (hsv).... all with v8's and lots of ponies under the hood... really makes me want to move down there

just for the cars! :D

In the United States (not sure about europe), you can get the Holden Monaro in Pontiac GTO form. Same car underneath the sheet metal.

ANYWAY, back to topic... I dont have a car :p, but I want to get my hands on a Mini. My mum has a Toyota Celica (new one), my step-dad has a Toyota Prado (new one) and my dad has a Holden (GM in USA) HSV Senator Signature (new one).
