Last time I was at the rover dealership, was... a couple weeks ago and they didn't have any. I think the LR2 will do a good job to compete with the lexus RX and Acura RDX. I wonder if the Freelanders are reliable. All I know is that they weren't that nice of cars. We had them as loaner/curtesty cars a couple times and my mom referred to them as "the mistake". The LR2 interior looks well improved over the freelander and the exterior looks a lot better.

To classof2011. First sit in the drivers seat so you know what its like to drive a land rover- amazing visibility everywhere. the side windows go like almost down to like your legs almost. The windshield is flat with very little angle and the hood slopes down quickly. Its quite empowering. Then sit in the passenger seat, its the same deal. The second row isn't too interesting, but its a tad higher than the driver & passenger seating so you can kinda see over them and again there are really big side windows. The third row is where its cool, there is enough foot room and a foot well to make it comfortable for me (5'11"), its higher than the 1st and 2nd rows so you can still see out the windshield, you have huge windows on the side and because of the stepped roof line you get plenty of head room. What ties all this openess together though are the sunroof and the 2 other sunroofs (they don't open unfortunately) for the 2nd and 3rd row. Its really cool.

I saw a 2004 model at my parent's business and I loved the 3rd row windows. But now since they're all one piece, it looks even better! I'd like all the windows and the 2nd-3rd row moonroofs. Are they able to be built with DVD players? We use that a LOT in my mom's Navigator since we're always baby-sitting my nephew, her grandson. I think she likes the big SUV's since they have so much room, so she may actually look into an LR3.

Mine

This is my baby, recently purchased and in love with. Its my first car, so I guess I have to be proud of it.

LR3's are called Discovery III's in Europe. They changed the name in the US to try to get rid of the stereotypes about the ride and handling of the discoveries.

I suggest you try one out, they are quite comfortable.

Ya there are awesome to ride in... My besy freind's dad has one. its thatg dark grey/green color.. one funny story is if you there is more than one bluetooth phone in this car9if the LR3 is equipped with it) because my phone automatically connected to it when my freidns dads RAZR was and someone called my phone it went through the cars connection so be aware.

LOL; that reminds me of a story too. My mom had a 2004 Tahoe before her first Navigator (not her black 06) and of course it had Onstar. She didn't know about the integrated telephone although I sent every contact on her phone a text message with her Onstar phone number...and one day we were heading out to town during the summer and my dad called and he just happened to call when the radio station accepted a call. My mom was like "That sounds like your father!" and he was trying to talk to her and she says "Is he sending a shout out?"...he answered "No, I'm not shouting" and she was so scared because she didn't know how he was talking to her...LOL...

haha same with my grandpa when he bought his suburban(it was a 2002 and i was with him for the purchase) the guy that sold it to him had a new zelandish accent( i dont why i put that part in but whatever...now replaced by his mercedes GL450) and i know how the onstar system works and somehow he just put his nokia phone(no bluetooth) into his vertical charging cradle... and my dad calls his cell phone and the salesman was freaked out because i guess he didnt know that the car could do that and the salesman was saying i guess new zelandish ways of cursing..(i dont mean to be offensive by mentioning the new zelander)

=Also, we get together with other NSX owners and the Honda S2000 guys a few times a year for country cruises. Florida isn't exactly excitement central when it comes to great driving roads, but if you look around you can plan a fun route.

saw this bunch of NSX owners at the casino down the road from me a few Saturdays ago. I don't think everyone had yet arrived as more were turning up as i was leaving...

When my sister was on a training day playing with the new Lexus LS, they were driving alongside another LS and the bluetooth link started ringing. The guy in the car alongside had been driving their car earlier in the day and had set his phone up, so when he got called it went through to the wrong car.

I have a GPS but I had to buy mine, wasnt built into the car. Mine is a pretty standard one, doesn't do anything fancy except tell you how to get from A to B

Florida?

I'm constantly amazed at how many NSXs there are in my area. With less than 9000 total imported to the US over 15 years, there are still at least a dozen in a 50 mile radius around me.

I love our little meets.
